Here's how I handle those types of things.
I send an email from AW2000 to the buyer directly. I open up the email from e*ay and get the buyer's email address. then I use an inquiry email template I have created in AW2000 and send an email directly to the buyer.
If they respond to that email, then I know that we can communicate via direct email . I request ship info, create an invoice, add the invoice item(s) and send them a total amount due.
It is a violation of e*ay policy to use the e*ay system for transactions outside the marketplace. If someone contacts you directly, then that is another matter entirely. Hence if the buyer responds to the direct email, you are in a different scenario....
I would not use the e*ay email system to conduct the transaction.
