No worries, Let me see if I can shed some light on the email templates for you.

I am presuming you have already created an Auction lot email template by going to
"Tools | Email Template Manager".....When the template manager opens, you selected "New" from the buttons along the bottom,
Then chose "Auction lot" from the two choices?

To reply to an email inquiry using an Auction lot email template, just open the email in the Email Reader. Along the tool bar are three icons. Envelopes with red arrows on top of them. They are usually located right under the "Tools" on the menu.

Placing your mouse over the center icon, will display "Reply using template"
Click that icon and the drop down list displays all the email templates. You can select the Auction lot email template you have created and type in any additional information you like.

just a side note, there are no Auction lot email templates by default in AW2000. Only Invoice email templates. You can create those as Auction lot email templates are very specific to each user.
