Since you mentioned passwords, It is a really good idea not to use the same password for all accounts. Such as Paypal, eBay, Overstock, Online banking etc. It is better to use different passwords for eBay or Overstock than the financial. If someone does get hold of your password and you use the same password for everything, the scammer can really have a hayday.

I use different passwords for Auction venues than Paypal. And my Paypal password is not the same as my banking passwords. I have a chart under lock and key in my file cabinet with all the passwords. And when I change the passwords, I will record the new password and the date changed. That way if my over 50 mind forgets, at least I have a method of obtaining the password.
