Weird Warning

Relisted an item (changed from auction style to Fixed Price; a vintage jewelry-repair kit). I changed nothing in the Item Specs, and got this screwy warning:

"Warning: Warning Code 21917020: cannot change to requested quanttiy. Original txn quantity = {0}"
[misspellings not mine]

Any ideas?

Sue

Was this a single qty listing? and the qty was set to 1?

Did you use Auction Site > Queue lot for listing.?
OR did you manually change status to Queued for listing.

Did the lot list?

Yes, single quantity; Quantity is set to 1.

Yes, queued for listing, then listed; didn't manually change Status to Queued.

Yes, the lot listed; it's Status is On Line now. I just now revised it (reduced the price) and got no warnings/errors.

Gee I don't know. It could have just been a glitch at eBay

I think eBay has out-sourced some of their programming or whatever department keeps the system in synch with the various listing policies and prohibitions. That's what accounts for the misspelled words in the error message, and maybe that's what accounts for the glitch.

Sue,

If you look some of the Item Specifics are also misspelled. I guess their spell checkers don't work
