Hi, Michael,
Welcome!! It is such a pleasure to meet you..
I am presuming you have your Auction profiles all set up. and you have already created auction lots as well as have Queued the Lots for listing
No worries--easy as pie
Go to "Auction site" on the Auction lots menu along the top.
On the drop down menu, select "List all lots"
Another dialog box will open "Select Auction lots to List for Profile xxxx"
If you have numerous Auction profiles in AW2000, it is in this dialog window you select which profile you want to list for. If you only have one profile, then only one will appear. Leave the checkbox checked. Any checkboxes unchecked will not list.
Click OK at the bottom of the dialog box.
The next window is the "Listing Wizard" It is this step which uploads the images to your FTP space. So click "List Lots"
Aw2000 will generate all the images and upload them to your FTP space for you.
The next window which opens is the "Lister" itself... And you have a bit of information to complete on the Lister. Things like using Gallery images or not, Payment methods, your Paypal payment address, REturn policy, Payment instructions etc,,, Once you complete all the information on every tab on the right hand side, you will click "Save Options" in the lower right hand. And you never have to touch them again unless you change something.
After you have completed the Lister options, click "List all lots" and AW2000 will list all the Queued Auction lots for you.
does that help?? If not, let me know and I will try to do better.

Hi. Thanks for the response. All is going better now, however several potential buyers have remarked that they cannot see the photos when they go to the description. Others, though, can!!! What do you think? Could this be a limitation of their machines? Also, I have been working on templates. I really like yours. Do you have any suggestions or ideas? Did you begin with a sample or did you do all of the html yourself? Regards. Michael

Michael,
Excellent news! I will check on the image issue and get back to you. It could be a browser issue. Has happened before but I will find out for you.
Thanks! I used a sample and then converted it to pure HTML later. One suggestion,,, duplicate whatever sample you are playing around with first and then edit it. If you have started editing go ahead and duplicate it now anyway.
If you make a mess of a template, you can always go back to the original if you have duplicated it, and start over. If you don't duplicate, well, you won't have a fresh new template to start over from.. Just ask me how I know
The HTML isn't hard to do. First AW2K comes with the ability to add some of the HTML field tags for you. The other cool thing is you can use your HTML editor (Front Page or Dreamweaver or whatever you use) to build a template and then copy the code into your AW2K HTML template. Or you can code the HTML yourself..
If you build a Listing template the way you like it first, add the background images, frames, colors, font, etc and then convert it to pure HTML, much of the work is done for you. Like the image tags being right for the background image and frame properties. Font Face, etc will all show up. Then any of the stuff you would like to change, you can do it in the HTML version.
My listing template has the same background image inside the frame as well as outside the frame. That isn't allowed on Overstock. So I have to use a slightly different template on Overstock.
Just be sure to Preview each change you make to your LIsting template to see if it looks like you want.
Does that help?
