Any way to copy/paste html to another site?

Hi, I have several items in inventory that I would like to post on another unsupported auction site, I can manage them manually easy enough once listed but am trying to find if its possible to generate an html file of the item to copy paste into the auctionsites listing form.

Or maybe create an auction lot from the inventory item then somehow get the html file to copy?

The two items so far I had listed on ebay and didnt sell so I can go to the closed listing and edit, then just copy paste the html, but items that were not listed prior is really what I'm asking.
Would I use the website feature?

To just copy paste from the description field I lose all formatting plus the template html.

Dont know if I summed this up right after reading it but I'll give it a try.

Thanks for any help...digger

Hi, Al,

Several of us do the exact same thing.

You want first of all to find out what is and is not allowed on the site. Bonanzle doesn't allow much HTML. I have had a pickle of a time getting any template to work at all

You can use the Preview template on the Auction lot which generates the template in your browser.

Go to "View > Source" and select all the code, copy it and paste it into the other sites text editor.

If you are going to use your own web space for image hosting those images, be sure to upload the images to your web space so the image URL"s are valid. You can then change the Auction lots status to Online and the images will remain on your web space until you take the Auction lot offline and add a Close date to the appropriate field.

You can also change the status of the Auction lot you are going to move to the other site to Queued for listing and allow the images to be uploaded to your web space, then use the "Preview" on the Lister window. The image URL will be valid and you can copy the code as well.

Then just cancel the listing process.

Let me know if that helps or not. There is another method of obtaining the template code but I use the above methods the most.

Al,

Excellent! That is what I use a lot.

Now if I can only figure out how to get my HTML template to work on Bonanzle! It is kicking my tail

So far I have managed to get the template components to display but they are spread way out. Nothing is connected...

Oh for a younger and bigger brain!
