Just a reminder that the deadline for cleaning up your listings to remove any and all reference to checks, money orders and cashier checks is January 15, 2009.

Now here's the deal,,, if your description has the term "Check" in it, the listing will fail. So terminology such as "Check our store out" in the description field, Header or footer area will have to be changed. Even "Check xxx website for more information" for further product clarification will have to be edited out. Ebay is looking for the term "check" or "money order" in the description fields too.

I know, I know, such a deal to have to edit everything. But keep in mind, if you have left acceptable payment methods in the LIsting template inside "Payment" then only one change is necessary. Edit the template and it applies globally when listing new Auction lots.
